The New PPWR Regulation (EU Reg. 2025/40)
EU Regulation 2025/40 (PPWR) introduces binding rules to promote the circular economy in packaging. Key deadlines include a ban on PFAS (2026), mandatory reuse and refill (2027-2028) and strong restrictions on single-use items, minimum recyclability, and empty space by 2030.
